Italian restaurants are known for their warm and inviting atmosphere, where families and friends gather to enjoy delicious food and good company. Lucky and Pep's, located on Barrenjoey Road in Sydney, is a prime example of this. Established in 1979, Lucky & Pep's has been a beloved social hub for the local community for over four decades.
Under the ownership of Italian brothers Andrew and Angelo Auricchio, Lucky & Pep's expanded its menu to include traditional homemade pasta and meat dishes alongside their already popular pizzas. The brothers' passion for food is evident in every dish they prepare, with each creation made with the utmost care and attention to detail.
When the Baluch family took over in 2000, they continued to uphold the high standards set by the Auricchio brothers. Chef Will was personally taught all of the recipes collected throughout the years by Angelo himself. Andrew still makes the perfect pizzas that are so popular around the northern beaches.
In 2005, Lucky & Pep's moved to bigger premises at Newport hub, allowing them to serve even more customers while maintaining their cozy atmosphere. The new restaurant features a huge outdoor seating area and an expanded kitchen.
At Lucky & Pep's, you can expect nothing but authentic Italian cuisine made with love and passion. From perfectly cooked veal to homemade gnocchi, every dish is prepared with care and attention to detail. It's no wonder why this restaurant has become a staple in the local community for over 40 years.
