It has been 2 years and 4 months since we took over the shop. In that time, costs across the board (electricity, fuel, fuel levy, general goods, meat, produce etc) have risen. We have done our best to internally manage the increases so as not to impact the prices of our handmade pies. As of 1st October 2026, businesses cannot pass on the card surcharge that we will still be charged.
To ensure we can continue to stay a viable small business, the time has come to increase our prices commencing 1st October 2026. Plain mince and chicken pies, vegetable varieties and sausage rolls will not increase. The increase for the other varieties will be an additional $0.20 up to $2.
As always, all pastry and fillings are handmade, on the premises. We take great pride in cooking all ingredients together and not simply adding toppings e.g., mushrooms, cheese, bacon etc over the filling. We believe the end result is a far superior, more flavourful pie.
You will also continue to enjoy our pies, pasties and sausage rolls baked on the day as we cook throughout the day to ensure maximum freshness.

The pie that started our Brisket range - Beef Brisket. Slow cooked for 10 hours, encased in our handmade pastry. Our Brisket & Cheese pie is also available today and soon, we'll be baking our Brisket with Jalapeño & Cheese pies.

Kudos to Andrew for that pie base and puff pastry. Absolutely spot-on in taste, texture and looks.

There's usually a pot simmering gently on the stove most of the day. That's the filling of our Beef Mince Pie.
When undecided, go for the traditional Beef Mince Pie. All made in-house, including the pastry.

Recently, a customer was delighted that we serve cortado. Saved him asking for a piccolo with an extra shot and more milk.
Enjoying one now, although this has a bit more froth than normal.
