Thank you so much for your continued support this long weekend. That was a big one. We truly hope you enjoyed your pies. We also loved seeing so many families and friends spending quality time together here at our little shop.

Open daily from Thursday, 1st October to Monday, 12th October. That's right...we will open on Tuesday, 6th & Wednesday, 7th - days we are usually closed. We will return to our normal trading hours (closed every Tuesday & Wednesday) the following week.

Wow. We are feeling the love. Thank you for being so understanding. It serves to motivate us to continue to do our very best everyday. Your kind words are very much appreciated. Truly.

To the displeased, we do not know of another small business that rejoice in raising their prices and does not feel anxious about the reaction to their announcement. If you wish to be paid fairly for your hard work and long hours at your workplace, so do we as a small business.

To those that mentioned discounts for cash payment, we have considered this. However, the increase is not just based on the card surcharge alone but on the wider increase in costs to ingredients, supplies and services. We are looking at other ways to alleviate the price rise. Stay tuned...

It has been 2 years and 4 months since we took over the shop. In that time, costs across the board (electricity, fuel, fuel levy, general goods, meat, produce etc) have risen. We have done our best to internally manage the increases so as not to impact the prices of our handmade pies. As of 1st October 2026, businesses cannot pass on the card surcharge that we will still be charged.

To ensure we can continue to stay a viable small business, the time has come to increase our prices commencing 1st October 2026. Plain mince and chicken pies, vegetable varieties and sausage rolls will not increase. The increase for the other varieties will be an additional $0.20 up to $2.

As always, all pastry and fillings are handmade, on the premises. We take great pride in cooking all ingredients together and not simply adding toppings e.g., mushrooms, cheese, bacon etc over the filling. We believe the end result is a far superior, more flavourful pie.

You will also continue to enjoy our pies, pasties and sausage rolls baked on the day as we cook throughout the day to ensure maximum freshness.
