The Henson is located on Illawarra Road in Sydney. For those using public transport, the closest train station is Marrickville Station. Exit the station and head southeast on Schwebel Street towards Illawarra Road. Turn right on Illawarra Road and you will find The Henson on your left after a short walk.
Alternatively, if you are driving, you can park on Illawarra Road or one of its side streets (check signs for parking restrictions). From the city center, take Parramatta Road and turn left onto Petersham Road. Continue straight ahead until you reach Illawarra Road, then turn right. Keep driving until you see The Henson on your right-hand side.

The Henson, located on Illawarra Road in Marrickville, is a laid-back neighbourhood pub that offers a unique experience of drinking, dining and revelry. Independently owned, this boutique bottle shop and restaurant serves craft beer and delicious food all day, every day. The Henson Kitchen is open from 11am to 9pm on Sunday to Tuesday, till 9:30pm on Wednesday and Thursday, and till 10pm on Friday and Saturday.
The Henson has a lot to offer its patrons with regular events such as live music by Black Woods every Thursday from 8 pm onwards and pool competitions starting at 7 pm. The front bar is the perfect spot for catching up with friends over beers while watching footy matches. The chicken wings and house side salad are highly recommended for those looking for gluten-free options.
