⚓️ Well, that’s a wrap on another season at Cottage Point!

We’ve hung up the aprons, parked the boats and we’re taking our annual winter break this month.

We’re looking forward to a bit of travelling, spending quality time with our daughter Sia and enjoying a sleep in or two! We will of course miss our amazing Kiosk family and would like to take this opportunity to thank them this year, more than ever.

From early starts and busy weekends to school holidays, rainy days, sunny days and everything in between, they’ve shown up with smiles, hard work and dedication. Small businesses simply don’t run without great people and we’re incredibly grateful for every one of them - thank you guys ❤️

A special mention must also go to our wonderfully loyal chef, Lek. Through countless busy services, changing seasons and 20+ years at the Kiosk, he has been a constant passenger on our wild roller coaster ride and we’re incredibly lucky to have him. 🌸

To everyone who has visited, hired a boat, enjoyed a coffee, shared a meal, brought friends, posted photos or simply supported our little corner of paradise over the past year, thank you. Your support means more than you know. Running a small family business isn’t always easy but the people around us make it all worthwhile.

We’ll be back in July, refreshed and ready for another season on the water. We will also have a little surprise waiting for us all when we get back - you’ll just have to come and see what it is for yourselves in July! 😉

And just like that it’s the last weekend of Autumn!

After another big season, we’re about to take our annual winter break for the month of June.

Before we disappear we’ve got one last weekend to enjoy the best of Cottage Point.

The forecast is looking kinder, the bush is green after all the rain, the waterfalls are flowing and the coffee machine is ready to go!

Whether it’s a morning coffee, a homemade scone with jam and cream, lunch by the water, or a boat or kayak adventure, this weekend is your last chance to visit us before we close for June.

We’ll be open as usual all weekend and would love to see you.

🐾Not many places let your dog come boating with you… but we do!

One of the best things about visiting Cottage Point Kiosk is that your day doesn’t have to stop at coffee or lunch. Your dog is welcome to come along for the whole adventure.

Even though we’re surrounded by national park, Cottage Point is a residential area, so dogs are welcome here.

That means your pup can join you for coffee by the water, a bite to eat and even a boating day too.

It’s one of the things that makes this place so special: a proper day out that includes the whole family, four-legged members included.

So bring the lead and bring your best mate along for the ride.

🎵 MORE LIVE MUSIC THIS WEEKEND!

After a hugely successful live music session last weekend, we’re excited to have the talented Vera perform live on the waterfront this Sunday.

Vera will be playing acoustic guitar from 12pm-3pm, setting the soundtrack for a long, relaxed lunch by the water.

Great food, a glass of wine (or two), boats drifting past and nature all around, it’s the perfect excuse to slow down and stay awhile.

This Australia Day long weekend we’ve got Oliver Taylor performing live. Solo acoustic, a mix of originals and covers with plenty of blues & grooves.

It doesn’t get much more quintessentially Aussie than this: live music in the bush, right on the water, surrounded by sandstone, gum trees and that laid-back long weekend atmosphere. Come sit back, relax and soak it all in.

We’ve hit the ground running into 2026 and haven’t stopped!
The boats have been busy, the kitchen’s been pumping and the waterfront is looking as good as ever.
It’s the kind of place where a simple coffee turns into a long lunch, or a boat hire turns into a full day out.
We’re open 8am–4pm, 6 days a week throughout the school holidays (closed Tuesdays).
