Formerly known as Verona Pies and Cak, the bakery is popular for its delicious desserts and warm ambiance. Waverley Bakery also celebrated Easter by opening on Good Friday, Easter Saturday, and Easter Sunday. However, it was closed on Easter Monday and Tuesday while operating as usual from Wednesday onwards. Additionally, they wished their customers Happy Valentine's Day in advance with their social media post "Love is Power."

For the dessert shop and restaurant on Bronte Road in Sydney, if you are using public transport you can take either bus route 379 or 440 which stops at Bronte Road. If you are driving, there is street parking available on Bronte Road with a 2-hour limit during weekdays and unlimited time on weekends. Alternatively, there is a paid public car park located at the intersection of Bronte Rd and Birrell St which is open from Monday to Saturday.
