So today's the day I turn 50. I'm looking forward to celebrating with my family and friends over the next few days. In lieu of gifts I have asked my family and friends for donations to our wonderful charities. I also have this fundraiser for the amazing Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney
I have no goal, just to raise whatever we can to help families who need to call it home ❤️

Here is the wishlist that has been sent to everyone attending our charity dinner on Saturday night. If you would like to contribute, just drop off to the restaurant.
Please note that any big items for The Formal Project only be dropped off Fri or Sat night please and be clearly marked as I don't have the space to store. They will be able to take their donations home on Sat night. I will also accept any other items for them that are on their general donation list which is on their social media pages.

National Volunteer Week
It's that week where we honour all the heroes who walk amongst us and volunteer their time, whether it is for a charity, an organisation or a sporting body.
So many selfless people give their time to something they are passionate about. For my mum it is Little Athletics. She has been involved since I was 6 (44yrs ago) and still loves to go to on a Friday night and judge shot put and teach the little ones. She volunteers at carnivals most weekends during the summer, all the way up to State Level and one of her proudest moments was volunteering at the Sydney Olympics.
Mum volunteers her time doing our Tuesday night delivery to RMH and so many customers have also offered their time if I ever need it, which is very much appreciated.
Now it's time for you to put the spot light on someone just like her and they will go in the running to win a $100 gift voucher.

Good luck to who is off to Canberra this week for Australian Volunteer of the Year. I had the privilege of meeting Molly at RMH when she gave an inspirational talk about her experience with cancer as a teenager and she now raises millions of dollars for cancer research with Molly and her beautiful parents John & Ange popped in last night for a lovely surprise dinner and it was so good to catch up. There are amazing people in this world and it is people like them and all the amazing volunteers out there that should be flooding our social media :)

What does it mean to support small business. It means the world to me but if youbare one of our regulars you became part of the family and we get to know you and your orders. New customers often come in if they have placed an order online and either show their phone with the order number or call out the number...we always ask for their name and tell them it is because we like to be a little more personal then a number ❤️
So thank you for the support you have shown this little restaurant over the last 35yrs and to me personally over the last 8 ❤️❤️
