Last Thursday, the Ku-ring-gai community celebrated International Women’s Day.
This cake was commissioned by for the special event, featuring soft floral textures and illustrations celebrating women of all colours, shapes and sizes.
Inside was a rich chocolate cake with raspberry — completely vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free and nut-free, proving that cakes made for dietary requirements can still be deeply delicious.

To get to the bakery and cupcake shop on Dickson Avenue in Sydney using public transport, take the train to Kings Cross Station and then catch the 311 bus towards Waverton. Get off at the Pacific Hwy after Falcon St stop, which is just a short walk away from the bakery.
If you are driving, take the Pacific Highway to North Sydney and turn onto Miller Street. Continue straight until you reach Dickson Avenue and turn left. You can park on the street or use one of the nearby parking garages.
