Cove Bar & Grill at Kareela has been named Australia's Most Inclusive small business at the 2026 Australian Women's Small Business Champion Awards.
The restaurant, located at Sharks at Kareela on Bates Drive, received the award at a ceremony on 26 September, recognising its work providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
Owned by Gina Louloudakis, Cove Bar & Grill has worked with NOVA Employment for several years, helping people with disabilities find and maintain employment.
The restaurant was also a finalist in the Best Restaurant category at the national awards.
“We are a small business run by women and we are extremely proud of ourselves and all our team,” the restaurant said following the win.
The national award follows another successful year for Cove Bar & Grill.
In July, it was named Outstanding Restaurant – Family at the Sutherland Shire Local Business Awards, where it was also a finalist for Most Inclusive Employer.
The restaurant has previously received a NOVA Employment Gold Award for Diversity and Inclusion and won four ClubsNSW Perfect Plate awards.
Cove Bar & Grill operates seven days a week at Sharks at Kareela.

Some good news from Cove.
Cove Bar & Grill has been named a finalist in the 2026 Australian Women’s Small Business Champion Awards, in the restaurant category.
It came as a welcome surprise, and we’re proud to share it with the women who help make Cove what it is.
Head-Chef Anita in the kitchen, Rebecca coordinating events, Alyssa leading the restaurant, and Gina, whose vision and determination built Cove into what it is today.
