Can’t ask for a better forecast model to add to your weather prediction arsenal, and Pete is a local to The Gong also.
The Snowatch daily forecasts begin tomorrow and will be updated every day through to the closing weekend in October.
Snowatch is the only forecasting site that doesn’t use algorithms to spit out the forecasts. I personally check weather charts, data and satellite images each morning and manually add all text, icons and snowfall amounts for each resort. Snowatch is 100% independent and tells it like it is.

What do you do on a bluebird day when you’re somewhat laid up and not allowed to ski?

Today Leanne and I skied Charlotte Pass, we took up the $82 Thursday deal which included lift ticket, oversnow transport, a hot lunch and a drink (house beer, wine or soft drink)
Why did we ski there?
Leanne is a good skier but not keen on the issues that come with over crowded slopes, this was the perfect compromise with limited numbers, beginner/intermediate friendly slopes and very pleasant slopes with amazing snow cover, unfortunately the weather didn’t comply but this meant very short times waiting for the Poma and t-bar.
It was a great day and worth investigating if you are up here mid-week.

I’ve not posted for a while but we’re here in Perisher enjoying another day of blessings from above and planning a day at Charlotte Pass tomorrow to get Wolfmuvva’s legs back into ski-mode.
Those who have ventured here this year have been rewarded with better than average conditions.

To get to Anderson Road in Sydney, you can take public transport or drive:
Public Transport:
1. Take the train to Central Station.
2. Transfer to a T4 Eastern Suburbs & Illawarra Line train towards Bondi Junction.
3. Get off at Bondi Junction Station.
4. From there, catch bus 380 towards Watsons Bay and alight at Anderson Road.
Driving/Parking:
1. Head towards the Eastern Distributor from the city center.
2. Take the exit onto South Dowling Street and continue onto Dacey Avenue.
3. Turn left onto Anzac Parade and then right onto Alison Road.
4. Continue straight onto Anderson Street where you will find parking options available along the road.
