We’re excited to announce the opening of our 8th Thai Thae location at Melrose Park β€” another chapter in a journey that began almost a decade ago.

Back in 2016, Thai Thae opened its first doors in Hurstville with a simple dream: to bring the authentic taste and warm spirit of Thailand to the people of Sydney.

With just 40 seats and a kitchen full of passion, we started cooking the Thai dishes we grew up loving. Word spread, locals kept coming back, and that humble Hurstville kitchen became the beginning of something much bigger.

Today, we’re proud to have 8 locations across Sydney β€” from Hurstville, Mascot, Randwick, Penrith and Lidcombe to Eastgardens and now Melrose Park.

And while we’ve grown, some things haven’t changed: the same heart, familiar recipes, and our commitment to authentic Thai flavours.

Thai Thae has always been about more than food. It’s about Thai hospitality, bringing people together, and creating a place where you can enjoy a great meal with the people who matter.

Now it’s Melrose Park’s turn. πŸŽ‰ Book or order on our website

Winter is nearly over, it's your last chance to try Thai Thae special hot pot - Jim Joom.

We make our own broth from scratch with classic Thai herbs and spices, then the broth is used to simmer meat and vegetables at the table with dipping sauces on the side.

Choose from beef or pork set, each served with fragrant broth, fresh vegetables, and dipping sauces for that perfect balance of flavour.

I’m not drunk… but I really want some drunken noodles. πŸ˜‚πŸœ

Drunken noodles, or Pad Kee Mao, are stir-fried rice noodles tossed with garlic, chilli, fresh Thai basil, vegetables and your choice of protein.

Spicy, savoury, aromatic and seriously satisfying β€” basically the kind of noodles you crave when you want something with a little attitude. 🌢
