Did you know Zeppole di San Giuseppe originated in Napoli, with the first written recipe appearing in 1837! Of course they date back even further than that. The traditional filling for these is actually crema pasticcera, which we call vanilla custard. At Mezzapica we also make some very delicious versions with ricotta or gianduia as well!

These are only available once per year - On St. Josephs day which is this Thursday the 29th of March. We will have a few of each flavour available on the day, but please order ahead to avoid missing out on a particular flavour.
