Alessandro has begun a very exciting new chapter as Head Sommelier at The Dry Dock Balmain
The Dry Dock Balmain is Balmain’s oldest pub established in 1857 and went through a milestone transformation in 2023. With a classic public bar, premium sports lounge, a lounge bar and destination Dining Room with an award winning 400 bottle wine list, boasting a three glass rating plus the Australian Choice Best Wine List from The Australian Wine List of The Year Awards in 2024.
Alessandro is thrilled to join the team at Balmain to continue his wine career and bring his hospitality experience to contribute to the ongoing success of The Dry Dock!

We have loved bringing you great food & wine over the past six years, and now, it’s time for a good break and some reflection on all we have achieved bringing to life our Little Red Robin.
Thank you to everyone, our team over the years, our suppliers, our friends, our family, our supporters and our beautiful customers, many of whom have become friends.

Our beautiful little space will be taken over shortly for its next journey..
