This means everything. Six years isn’t just a stint — that’s a whole era for us.

Chef Pete, four of those years leading as Head Chef, and you’ve shaped this kitchen into what it is today. Your creativity, leadership, and standards are in every plate that leaves the pass. We’re going to miss you, but we’re seriously grateful for everything you’ve given. Do your thing — we’ll be cheering you on every step of the way.

Anderson, nearly eight years as part of this kitchen team — that kind of loyalty and consistency means everything. You’ve been a huge part of what makes this place run, day in and day out, and we’re thankful for every bit of it.

It really feels like the end of an era for Cartel, but neither of you will ever be forgotten — and you’ll always be welcomed back.

Weekend special: risotto, cavolo nero, chilli, shark bay crab

And what a special it is. Chef Pete who we’ve been so lucky to have on board with us for so-so long (an appreciation post coming) just kicked everything out of the park with this!
