🚨 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT 🚨
Nonna has decided for a bit of a change.
In the coming weeks you’ll see a few changes, like a fresh salon blow dry and the famous thick Nonna lipstick with a spray of that fresh musky floral perfume!
So from 22 June, we’ll be closing for a few days while we give the bar a little glow-up and make a few exciting changes to the menu and brand.
We’ll be back 1 July.
Before anyone panics:
🍕 Same pizza.
🍝 Same pasta.
❤️ Same crazy Nonna.
Just slightly different. GOOD different
Stay tuned while we update everyone on some menu changes
Love,
Nonna

Coffee with Uncle Nino ☕️❤️
Not blood related… but definitely family.
One of the beautiful parts of Crazy Nonna is the people around us — and Nino’s presence makes us feel at home. Lives across the road, always pops in for a chat, a coffee, and to keep us in line 😂🇮🇹

There’s just something about a bowl of pasta that makes everything slow down for a moment 🍝✨
The steam, the smell, that first twirl… it’s comfort, it’s home, it’s a little escape from the day.
This is what we’re about — simple food, done right, shared with good company.
Come hungry, leave happy ❤️

Midway through the journey. 👵🏼
This dough began 24 hours ago with a controlled pre-ferment.
Right now it’s in temperature-regulated rest — slowing fermentation so flavour and structure develop gradually, not aggressively.
Over the next 24 hours, natural enzymes continue breaking down starches and proteins, creating a dough that’s lighter, more aromatic, and easier to digest.
Another gentle wake-up before service,
and it’ll be ready at 48–60 hours total.
Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.
Just time, regulation, and respect for the craft.
