We had the best time talking and teaching coffee at .marrickville last week. Wholesale Manager Aaron was on the tools, helping five new friends nail basic barista skills and latte art, then hosting an impromptu (but exceptional) comp with special guest judge . We’re back at it this Thursday… Who will be crowned our next coffee champ?

FRESH DROP! Our latest roast hails from Cajamarca, Peru, and this talented producer 👆 Maria Alberca was born into a farming family, bringing a lifetime of hands-on agricultural knowledge to her coffee production. Maria has steadily refined her approach to cultivation, processing and drying, with carefully selected ripe cherries undergoing a traditional washed process, including 48 hours of fermentation, attentive washing and slow, controlled drying on raised beds. The resulting cup is clean and balanced with an expressive profile of pineapple, cascara and red currant, carried by a juicy sweetness and polished finish. Shop it now in-store and online.

To get to the coffee shop and Australian restaurant located on Albion Street in Sydney, there are several options:
PUBLIC TRANSPORT:
- The closest train station is Central Station. From there, take either the 393 or 395 bus from Stand C in Eddy Avenue towards the Anzac Parade Randwick. Get off at the Albion St at Elizabeth St stop and walk a short distance to your destination.
- Alternatively, take the 374 bus from Circular Quay towards Coogee Beach. Get off at the Albion St Near Foveaux St stop and walk to your destination.
DRIVING/PARKING:
- If driving, head towards Surry Hills/Central Station and turn onto Elizabeth Street. Turn right onto Foveaux Street and then left onto Albion Street.
- There is limited street parking available around the area but you may be able to find a spot on Albion Street or one of the nearby side streets. There is also a car park on Riley Street which is only a short walk away from your destination.
