💫 T H R O W B A C K 💫
To our final day’s trade before lockdown
That was a month ago, but it sure feels a lot longer 🤪
We accept many more months will pass until we are able to resume business as normal
In the meantime we are staying fit and healthy with some amazing vegan recipes that are providing inspiration for some new menu items 😋
We wish our wonderful customers and followers the best and look forward to seeing you again as soon as possible

🌱 I T ‘ S M I N T T O B E 🌱
More than two weeks have passed since Covid-19 put our van into isolation 🍦🥥😷
Here’s what we’ve learned:
🟢 Don’t resist reality. Accept it. Adapt to it. Be resourceful and clever. You will find a way.
🟢 Listen to nature. The birds. The wind. Even the cicadas. We haven’t heard from them years . . .
🟢Slow down. Sleep in a bit longer. Stretch a bit longer. Marinate a bit longer. Simmer a bit longer. Chew a bit longer.
🟢Consider others. You are suffering. We are all suffering. But remember . . . Many, many more are worse off.
🟢Live in the moment. Forget ‘the other side’. Who knows when that will be? What it will look like? Leave it for now. Control your current situation.
🟢Recognise history. You are part of history. Nothing momentous is easy. But it is also a fascinating and incredible time to be alive. It will stand out in our memory more than anything we’ve previously experienced.
🟢 So make sure you remember it with pride and self satisfaction. Handle it with an accepting attitude. And stop worrying about tomorrow . . .

🤷🏽♂️ W H E R E T O N E X T? 🤷♀️
Who knows where this will take us?
It’s been a crazy, fun, challenging and unpredictable journey thus far. It’s been absolutely brilliant watching demand for healthy plant/based food grow. Ditto awareness and interest.
Thanks to forces beyond our control that we have no choice but to accept and respect, our small role in this movement has been restricted for the time being.
This is disappointing, but far from the end of the road. It’s just a speed hump, and once we get over it, we believe we’ll greeted by a community that’s stronger, more resilient and, best of all, more in harmony with the needs of their body.
Setbacks are an occupational hazard for small business. They can be heart breaking, but they are always beneficial provided we learn from them. They are essential to making us smarter and more efficient.
We wish everyone the best getting through this momentously testing time. It will confront all of us differently and individually. But when you’re doing it tough, remember . . . There’s someone else doing it tougher.
