Every great restaurant has that one person who brings something completely irreplaceable to the table and for us, that person is Adam.
Our manager, shareholder, talented chef, host with the most… and quite possibly the most talkative person you’ll ever meet 😂
Adam has this incredible charisma that fills a room. He can talk you out of house and home, tell you approximately 47 stories before you’ve had your first coffee, and somehow have you completely captivated the whole time. 😂
But underneath all the stories, laughs and personality is one of the most genuinely kind, loyal and caring people you could ever have by your side.
He gives so much to our little place, his talent, his energy, his heart and his loyalty. He genuinely cares about our team, our customers and The Shop, and that means more than words can say.
We are so lucky to have you, Adam.
Here’s to the chef, the host, the storyteller, the entertainer, the loyal friend and the absolute character that you are.
We wouldn’t be The Shop without you. 🫶🏽

23 years ago, I walked through the doors of this place as a waitress.
Not knowing that this little café and wine bar would become such a huge part of my life , or that I’d end up owning it with the man I love.
My husband started here as a barista, and somewhere along the way, between coffees, busy shifts, late nights and everything that comes with hospitality, we became a team.
Then, when our friend decided to sell, we took the leap and bought the place ourselves.
And here we are, all these years later.
We’ve worked side by side, built a business, raised a family, had some incredible times and some really bloody hard times. We’ve laughed, argued, stressed, celebrated and backed each other through it all.
Hospitality isn’t easy. Owning a business together definitely isn’t always easy! But after all these years, I still walk in the doors and feel incredibly proud of what we’ve created.
And what makes me most proud isn’t just how long the cafe has been here.
It’s that after all these years, we’re still here , together. 🤍
Still loving this place.
Still loving what we’ve built.
And most importantly, still loving each other. 🤸🏽‍♂️💥
