At Khao Pla, vegan options run from entrƩe all the way to dessert. Many of our classic fried noodles, including Pad Thai and Pad See Ew, can be made vegan on request, while plenty of our stir-fries are prepared with vegan oyster sauce.
And yes, dessert can be vegan too. Because finishing with something sweet is not optional. š

Whether it's a whole snapper, coral trout, or whatever beautiful market fish has arrived that day, steaming is one of the best ways to let the freshness shine.
In Asian culinary traditions, steaming is all about respecting the ingredient ā gentle heat keeps the flesh tender, moist and naturally sweet, while letting the delicate flavour of the fish take centre stage.

Thai restaurants are known for their bold and flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy any craving. Khao Pla, located on Victoria Avenue in Sydney, is no exception. This multi-award winning restaurant offers a smashing food menu with an elegant interior to match.
One of the standout features of Khao Pla is their happy hour Singha beer deal, available between 3pm and 5pm every weekday for only $5 a glass. This is cheaper than buying from the bottle shop and is perfect for those looking to unwind after work.
When it comes to comfort food, Khao Pla has got you covered with classic Thai curry and soup options that will warm up your body and satisfy your tastebuds. The Green Curry with Chicken Thigh, Thai Eggplant and Wild Ginger, Tom Yum Goong with Banana Prawns, and Massaman Curry with Slow Cooked Beef Cheek are all must-tries.
To top off your meal, be sure to indulge in one of their traditional Thai desserts with a modern twist. Their homemade Thai Milk Tea ice-cream served in a bed of warm black sticky rice with jackfruit and sugarcane sauce is a well-balanced dessert that can be enjoyed any time.
Overall, Khao Pla is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for authentic Thai cuisine in Sydney. With two locations in Chatswood and Macquarie Centre open for lunch and dinner seven days a week, this restaurant should not be missed.
