Every week, we place a few cakes on our sale rack. Not because there’s anything wrong with them, but because they weren’t sold in time and we’d rather see them enjoyed than wasted.
The sale rack is for those little sweet cravings, last-minute treats, and days when you want cake without paying full price.
But when a sale cake is bought, the sale sticker removed, and then gifted as a fresh custom cake, it puts small businesses like ours in a difficult position. The person receiving it doesn’t know it’s a discounted older cake, and if the cake isn’t at its absolute freshest, the blame often comes back to us.

To get to the bakery at Minto in Sydney, you can take a train to Minto station, which is located on the T8 Airport & South line. From there, you can walk or take a bus to reach the bakery.
If you prefer to drive, you can take the M5 motorway and exit at Campbelltown Road. Follow Campbelltown Road until you reach Ben Lomond Road, then turn left and continue straight until you see the bakery.
Parking is available on the street nearby, but it may be limited during peak times. Alternatively, there is a small car park behind the shops where the bakery is located.
