I checked out Dear Deer Dumpling’s new Darlinghurst location and had a feast full of hearty Chinese dishes 🫶 highly recc the dumpling selection (we enjoyed all the ones we ordered!) as well as the Mongolian beef which was super tender and flavourful 🙌

Sorry had to, funny name and all.
This icon of a restaurant has made a home in Darlinghurst.
Love a restaurant where you tick boxes to order, it’s nostalgic and efficient and I am here for it.
Over 120+ items on the menu, made it hard to choose but I think we did well.
What we tried:
1. Xiao long bai steamed bun $12.80 ⭐️
2. Pan fried pork bun $15.60 ⭐️
3. Steamed crystal BBQ pork and duck dumpling $15.80 ⭐️
4. Seasoned edamame $9.80
5. Ma po tofu $18.80 ⭐️⭐️
6. Dear deer fried rice $25.80 ⭐️
Pretty much it all slapped, and i LOVED the crystal dumpling was gluten free!!
