Stitch Coffee

Stitch Coffee Stitch Coffee is a specialty coffee shop and café located on Bay Street, offering Sydney’s wider coffee community a place to connect through carefully crafted brews. The venue features dedicated brew bars at both the QVB and Marrickville locations, where expert baristas prepare pour-over coffee for customers seeking a single-origin release. Stitch Coffee also supports shared experiences, pairing standout coffees with food such as a Stitch Bagel Platter made to complement coffee with a fresh, creamy, crunchy, smoky, and tangy lineup. Their social blends include the Hobnob Blend—described as sweet and smooth with figgy fruit flavours—while their roasts highlight farm-focused lots like La Llama (a Caturra lot noted for patience and precision through ripe picking and careful washing and slow-drying).

A familiar name in our rotation for a reason.

Meet Ethiopia, Adorsi: a fruit-forward lot from Yirgacheffe, produced by farmers from Aricha, Idido and Gersi. Grown under native shade trees in the region's cool climate, the coffee is naturally processed and slowly dried with plenty of care along the way.

Snow-capped mountains and Kenyan coffee? Yep, they're a thing 🏔️

Grown on the slopes of Mt. Kenya and processed at Thaita Factory, this lot brings together the work of around 800 smallholder farmers from the Inoi Cooperative Society.

Expect everything we love about a classic Kirinyaga coffee: vibrant acidity, layered sweetness and plenty of complexity.

What people say

Stitch Coffee on Bay Street, Sydney is a standout for anyone who loves specialty coffee with real care behind it. The café’s focus on single origins shines through—whether you’re choosing a pour-over or settling in at one of their brew bars, the baristas are clearly knowledgeable and attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless from order to cup.

What really sets Stitch apart is the way they bring personality to their coffee. From playful “share instead” moments to fun, thoughtful touches like their Hobnob Blend being positioned as a social brew—sweet, smooth, and packed with figgy fruit flavours—the brand consistently encourages you to slow down and enjoy coffee with others. Their bagel platters also look like a perfect match for the menu: fresh, creamy, crunchy, smoky, and tangy all in one spread.

Even when highlighting specific lots (like La Llama), the emphasis stays on craft—patience, precision, and careful processing that points to quality in every step. Overall, Stitch Coffee feels like a welcoming place where great roasting meets an engaging café vibe—ideal for both casual visits and coffee-focused sessions.
