Cosy Nook, a family-style restaurant and café located on Ward Place, was a popular spot for breakfast and lunch throughout the week. The restaurant also offered dinner on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. In April 2020, they announced their Good Friday fish special featuring dishes such as barramundi fish and chips and fettuccine king prawn with Neapolitan sauce. As of March 2021, they were providing take-away services via text order at 0405 379 424. Unfortunately, Cosy Nook has permanently closed its doors.

To get to Ward Place in Sydney by public transport, take a train or bus to Central Station. From there, you can catch a bus or taxi that goes along Elizabeth Street towards the city center. Get off at the nearest stop to Ward Place and walk from there.
