Now that our doors are closed, we wanted to say one last THANK YOU to everyone who visited Safran over the past decade and a bit! Over the last few weeks, we have heard so many beautiful stories of how Safran has been a part of your lives for special occasions, celebrations, and just because 🥰
Sulo and I have been honoured to be a part of the Central Coast hospo community (particularly focused on the Peninsula ✊) and we look forward to still contributing to the local food scene with Sulo’s Shish Kebabs
Sulo’s is focused on traditional Turkish food with delicious fresh flavours. Super casual dine in or take away, along with home delivery from UberEats and DoorDash. A very different dining experience to Safran, but still made with the same love ❤️
Sulo’s will soon be expanding into the Safran dining room with cocktails and a larger menu including PIDE 🤩 Please follow Sulos Shish Kebabs to be kept in the loop

After 12 incredible years, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the closing of Safran. We have thoroughly enjoyed the pressure of running a successful formal restaurant, but it is now time for us to embrace a simpler life with a bit more freedom for our family.
Our last service will be Saturday September 7th.
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to all our amazing patrons who have supported us throughout this journey.
A special thank you goes out to our extraordinary staff, past and present. Your dedication, hard work, and passion have made Safran the special place it is. We couldn’t have achieved what we did without each one of you.
As we near the close this chapter, we carry with us many cherished memories and a heart full of appreciation. Thank you for being a part of our story thus far.. our new chapter will be focused on
It’s not all over yet for Safran.. it’s still business as usual until September 7th (with many events planned: Comedy All Stars, Lunch with Friends from Cameron Cansdell, & Father’s Day lunch!)

To get to Ocean View Road in Ettalong Beach, you can take a train to Woy Woy Station and then catch the 50 or 53 bus towards Ettalong Beach. Get off at the Ettalong Beach Wharf stop and walk down Ocean View Road until you find the restaurant.
If you are driving, head towards Central Coast Highway and follow it until you reach Memorial Avenue. Turn right onto The Esplanade and continue until you reach Ocean View Road. Look for parking along the street or in nearby lots.
Please note that these directions do not mention any specific restaurant name but will help guide you to the general location of Ocean View Road in Ettalong Beach.
