We are incredibly excited to be welcoming Brendan Gallagher in residency at the Gasoline Pony on the second Wednesday of every month, performing a wide variety of tuneful and expertly composed original music, starting this evening!

He has maintained a comprehensive career as an independent artist in the Australian music industry, producing and releasing seven solo albums and playing guitar on recordings for artists such as David Bowie, Jimmy Little and Kylie Minogue. His production career has seen him working on over 40 albums in as many years, including on ARIA award winning albums from Jimmy Little and Karma County. He was the music director for touring theatre production Buried Country, and has provided original soundtracking for a variety of feature film, documentary and television.

Brendan's contribution to the independent music scene in Australia is significant and wide-reaching, and we're honoured for him to grace our stage on a regular basis!

The live music venue and beer bar is located on Marrickville Road in Sydney. To get there via public transport, you can take a train to Marrickville Station and then walk for about 10-15 minutes along Marrickville Road until you reach the destination. Alternatively, you can catch a bus that stops at Marrickville Road and walk for about 3-5 minutes to reach the venue.

If you prefer to drive, there are a few options for parking in the area. There is street parking available on Marrickville Road and nearby side streets, but it can be limited during peak times. The closest car park is located on Edinburgh Road, which is about a 5-minute walk from the venue. There may also be other paid car parks in the vicinity that you can use if there's no space to park on the road.
