To get to the Darvall Street location in Balmain, there are a few options for public transport. You can take a bus from the city (such as the 442 or 445) and get off at either Darling Street or Beattie Street, which is about a 10-15 minute walk away. Additionally, you can take the ferry from Circular Quay to Balmain East and then walk to the location (about 20 minutes).
If you're driving, there is limited street parking available on Darvall Street and nearby streets. Alternatively, there is a car park at Gladstone Park itself (which is about a 5-10 minute walk away) where you can park for free for up to four hours.

With its well-maintained bowling greens, it's no wonder that the club championship bowls keep big crowds on their feet. The pairs matches are always exciting, with last year's winners Renee and Lawrence putting up a good fight against Packo and Al. And for those who prefer to sit back and relax, live music is often on offer at The Gladdo, with Class Action set to perform on Sunday 11 June.
The Gladdo is not just for bowlers though - it's also a great spot for socializing with friends and family. The club has even welcomed some furry locals, Ruby and Cloud, who have become regulars at the pub. And speaking of celebrations, The Gladdo recently hosted an engagement party for Chris and Jessie, with guests coming from near and far to enjoy the spectacular sunset views.
But it's not just about fun and games at Gladstone Park Bowling Club Balmain - the club also supports important causes in the community. Recently, they hosted a fabulous day on the green for Balmain Hospital Nurses in celebration of International Nurses Day.
