On Sunday I lost one of my biggest supporters for me and my business… my Dad 💔. He lost a long, hard battle with lung disease and ended his pain and suffering on this earth and we are truly devastated and heart broken by this loss.
He used to brag about my macarons to anyone who would listen and said that they were so shiny and that they were better than at the shops. He marvelled at how much people would pay (not considering how much time it took to make though!) for a biscuit!! He was super proud. I am going to miss him dearly and feel totally lost at the moment, knowing I will have to navigate this journey now without him. Rest in Peace Dad 🤍🕊️ I love you so much and will miss everything about you 😢

White 🤍I have not filtered this pic but the camera does make it look whiter than in person… also I work under fluorescent light so maybe that is another reason?
Anyways, don’t be fooled…macarons can only be so white.. not a pure white. Almond meal, baking processes all mean they are a little more beige in colour than white. This is the macaron unicorn… but makes for a lovely pic!

It’s so lovely doing these types of beautiful towers again. After a crazy 2 years of Covid with cancelled events and now my maternity leave, nice to see life is returning to somewhat normal and events are back on!

My last week before I take maternity leave! I do miss baking already but it’s been causing me such discomfort and pain, it will have to take a backseat until bubs arrives. I will hopefully keep posting some hints and tips and maybe some reels as I have a stack in my albums but no promises at this stage! Let’s just see how we go! .
