Thereβs a reason hot food seems to hit the spot just that little bit harder. Warm food gives off stronger aromas than cold food, which can make flavours seem more intense and satisfying. Temperature can also influence how we perceive taste and texture. Basically, your brain gets involved before youβve even taken the first bite.
Good news for anyone standing near our van debating whether they really need that hot pretzel, burger or bacon & egg roll. Science says youβre hungry. We donβt make the rules ;)

Lions Club Spring Festival tomorrow!
We're heading to Gannons Park for the Lugarno Lions Club Spring Festival, and this one's a BIG one. It's become one of southern Sydney's largest community festivals, with tens of thousands of people expected to descend on Peakhurst for the day. There's plenty happening too. More than 160 market and community stalls, carnival rides and sideshows, free live entertainment, a trackless train, animal farm, Reptile Man, classic car show, wrestling, martial arts demonstrations and emergency services displays.
Entry is also FREE, with no booking required. And amongst all that, we'll be doing what we do best:

To reach the location of this caterer in Sydney via public transport, you can take any train, bus or ferry that goes to Circular Quay Station. From there, head towards the Rocks area and continue walking for about 10-15 minutes until you reach a small lane on your left-hand side. The caterer will be located there.
If you prefer to drive and park, take the Harbour Bridge exit from the Cahill Expressway and follow signs towards the Rocks area. Turn right onto George Street, then right again onto Hickson Road. As you approach the end of Hickson Road, turn left into a small lane where there is usually street parking available. Walk a few steps down this lane and you will find the caterer on your right-hand side.
