Welcome back, Burundi Bumba! ☕️
From a remote hill in Burundi’s highlands comes a coffee with a community at its heart. Here, 698 smallholder farmers grow Red Bourbon on small plots alongside crops that feed their families.
If you remember Bumba’s natural release not too long ago, this is a fresh expression of the same hill. Carefully processed at Long Miles’ Ninga Washing Station, this washed lot brings notes of nectarine, lime, malt and chamomile to a beautifully crisp, silky cup.
Bumba also joins our Good Coffee Doing Good program. For every kilo sold, we’ll donate $4 to Trees for Kibira, Long Miles Coffee Project’s reforestation initiative. Its work planting indigenous trees helps protect soils, restore biodiversity and support the landscapes the communities depend on. 🌱
A beautiful coffee, with good things growing behind it.

Tucked down one of Melbourne’s iconic laneways, you’ll find an equally iconic diner straight from the Lower East Side: Bowery to Williamsburg.
A staple in the Melbourne C*D for over a decade, B2W is where classic American cooking meets Melbourne specialty coffee. Think New York-style sandwiches and bagels, all-day brunch, bottomless batchy, and our Daddy’s Girl blend brewed through their beautiful La Marzocco Linea PB.
We’re proud to have been along for the ride with them since the very beginning.
Find them at 16 Oliver Ln, Melbourne.

Introducing the next chapter of Padre… We’ve refreshed our identity to make it clearer, more distinctive and easier to navigate our blends, while staying true to what matters most: great coffee, good people and the same genuine connection with you - our community.
Inside the bag, nothing changes. It’s still the same carefully sourced, expertly roasted coffee you’ve always trusted.
Same coffee. Same people. Same Padre.

This month’s Staff Selection comes from James, who’s been eagerly awaiting the return of Winter Inferno.
“Each year, we release two blends tailored to the seasons: Summer Spritz and Winter Inferno. Winter Inferno is the one I look forward to all year.
Blending allows for so much creativity, and the roasting team has done another standout job creating a coffee that’s greater than the sum of its parts. Delicate spice, toffee apple and juicy orange acidity come together with a syrupy, treacle-like mouthfeel. Seriously good drinking!
As an omniroast, it’s been great to explore across both espresso and filter. It has great bones as an espresso and makes a hell of a latte. As a pourover, the spice becomes more lifted and helps round out the body.
It’s a robust and versatile coffee with plenty of expression, however you like to brew.”
Winter Inferno — available for a limited time, in-store and online.

A Padre favourite for a reason.
Daddy’s Girl is soft, rich and seriously easy to drink, with notes of caramel, milk chocolate, honey and hazelnut.
Brew it as espresso, add milk, or keep it cosy on the stovetop or plunger.
