Some connections keep growing. 🌱
In 2020, Trees for Kibira became the first initiative supported by our Good Coffee Doing Good program. It began a partnership grounded in a shared belief: the future of coffee depends on healthy land and the people who care for it.
For Long Miles | Coffee Producers in Burundi, that connection was clear. Eroding soils, fewer indigenous trees and a need for more shade on coffee farms inspired Trees for Kibira, a project supporting the landscapes and livelihoods of coffee-growing communities.
Working alongside farmers, the team plants trees and shares practical knowledge through its Coffee Scouts and Farmer Field Schools. Together, they explore ways to nurture healthier soil, grow coffee under shade and care for the land season after season.
Today, our Burundi Bumba continues that relationship, with $4 from every kilo sold supporting Trees for Kibira.

Our time at St David Dairy is coming to a close, with our last day of trading this Friday 9 October, until 5pm.
To our locals, our wider coffee community, our wonderful staff and our friends at St David Dairy, thank you. You’ve made this little spot a special part of our story, and we’re grateful for every coffee and conversation shared.
Our partnership with St David Dairy will continue, with their milk still poured alongside our coffee at our other cafés.
We’d love to see you for one last coffee before we say goodbye. ☕️

Good coffee taking root in Burundi. 🌱
Behind this beautiful washed coffee is a community of 698 smallholder farmers. Carefully processed at Long Miles’ Ninga Washing Station, Bumba brings nectarine, lime, malt and chamomile to the cup, with a silky feel and crisp finish.
Every cup supports new growth. For every kilo sold, we donate $4 to Trees for Kibira, helping restore the landscapes these communities depend on.

Welcome back, Burundi Bumba! ☕️
From a remote hill in Burundi’s highlands comes a coffee with a community at its heart. Here, 698 smallholder farmers grow Red Bourbon on small plots alongside crops that feed their families.
If you remember Bumba’s natural release not too long ago, this is a fresh expression of the same hill. Carefully processed at Long Miles’ Ninga Washing Station, this washed lot brings notes of nectarine, lime, malt and chamomile to a beautifully crisp, silky cup.
Bumba also joins our Good Coffee Doing Good program. For every kilo sold, we’ll donate $4 to Trees for Kibira, Long Miles Coffee Project’s reforestation initiative. Its work planting indigenous trees helps protect soils, restore biodiversity and support the landscapes the communities depend on. 🌱

**Public Transport:**
1. **Train:** Take a train to Bondi Junction Station on the Eastern Suburbs Line. From Bondi Junction, exit the station and catch Bus 440 towards Watsons Bay or Bus 389 towards North Bondi. Get off at the stop on Glenmore Road.
2. **Bus:** If you are already in the city, you can take Bus 333 from Circular Quay or Bus 380 from Central Station directly to Paddington. Alight at the stop closest to Glenmore Road.
3. **Light Rail:** Take the light rail to Moore Park and then transfer to Bus 440 or 389 heading towards Paddington.
**Driving/Parking:**
1. Head towards Oxford Street and follow it until you reach Glenmore Road.
2. There is street parking available along Glenmore Road; however, be mindful of parking restrictions and time limits.
3. Alternatively, consider using nearby parking facilities if street parking is full.
