Monopole also boasts light and colourful interiors designed by acclaimed Melbourne architect Pascale Gomes-McNabb. Limited reservations are taken with space reserved for walk-ins.

To get to Curtin Place in Sydney, you can take public transport by catching a bus or train to Town Hall station and walking south for approximately 10 minutes. Alternatively, you could drive and park in one of the nearby car parks such as Wilson Parking on Sussex Street or Secure Parking on George Street. From there, it's a short walk east to reach Curtin Place.

Speaking of the wine list, it's global in its approach and features undiscovered local wine makers, international grape varieties and regions, and legendary domains from Australia and around the world. Nick Hildebrandt's award-winning wine list boasts over 500 rare and boutique wines, with around 30 available by the glass or carafe. The interior design by Pascale Gomes-McNabb is moody and sophisticated, featuring rich dark woods and industrial metals that create an intimate atmosphere perfect for a romantic night out or a catch-up with friends. Monopole is open for dinner Tuesday to Saturday and for lunch from Wednesday to Friday. While they do take limited reservations, half of the space is reserved for walk-ins so you can always pop in for a glass of wine or two. Overall, Monopole is an excellent choice for anyone looking for delicious food paired with exceptional wines in a stylish setting.
