This Oktoberfest, we’re bringing a little taste of Bavaria to Surry Hills — with a proper lineup of Weihenstephaner German b**rs pouring at the Dove.
🍺 Festbier — golden, malty & smooth
🍺 Pilsner — crisp, clean & refreshing
🍺 Hefe Weissbier — naturally cloudy, fruity & full of character
🍺 Dunkel — dark, rich & malty
And to keep things properly fed…

Three Coopers Vintage Ales.
Three different years.
2020 Coopers Vintage — our cellar time capsule. This one has been quietly ageing in our keg room since THAT era. It has survived lockdowns, reopenings, and has shared the cellar with about 10 thousand other kegs . Frankly, it deserves a gold pension.
2024 Coopers Vintage — a little younger, a little fresher, but still with some proper vintage character.
2026 Coopers Vintage — the new kid on the block. Freshly released and ready to show the old boys how it’s done.
Three vintages. One very tasty experiment.

As the year comes to a close, we want to thank our incredible community for the support and kindness you’ve shown us over the past weeks.
After the fire on the roof on Tuesday 23rd, we’re proud and grateful to say that The Dove & Olive is open and operational again. Your encouragement has meant more to us than words can say, and it’s reminded us just how special this community truly is.
As symbols of peace, hope, and new beginnings, the dove and olive feel especially meaningful as we start a fresh chapter. We’ll be closed on New Year’s Day to rest and reset and we’ll be back on the 2nd of January, ready for all that lies ahead.
Wishing everyone a happy, healthy, and hopeful New Year!

For Melbourne Cup, still working out where in Surry Hills to go, for a social catch up with friends. Why not come to the Dove and Olive, we have a $40 nibbles package that includes a ‘drink on arrival’upstairs, and plenty of TVs with casual seating downstairs.  Hope to see you next Tuesday.

Starting next week, the Dove and Olive Hotel is officially reopening on Mondays! Come and kick off your week with us — we’ll be pouring your favourite delicious craft b**rs from 4PM to 9PM.
Whether you're craving a post-work pint or just looking to ease into the week with good vibes and even better brews, a vodka lime soda 🧊 or a Martini 🍸 we’ve got you covered. Expect all the great hospitality you love, plus plenty of cold ones on tap. 🍺✨
Our happy hour will run from 4PM-7PM with a wide range of drinks, including house spirits!
