I usually say I’m a baker because people understand the work of a baker more. But once I describe what we do, it always ends with “but that’s not really a baker, right?”

That’s right. 😌

Last year, in order to reduce food wastage and to make sure we’ve a better work-life balance, I sat down and look through our sale record and decided to remove flavours which were simply not working for us. They either do not keep well, tedious to roll or simply do not hold shapes smoothly.

In place, I came up with 14 flavours which gave us longer shelf life, easier storage and better texture to work with for cake pops. It was a risk because when we first started years ago, having a long list of flavours means extra baking time. But as our new flavours can be stored in advance, require little to no baking time and hence reduce food wastage, we can prepare our orders earlier and are less stressed.

Our customers love these flavours and so do our students who learn how to recreate their own flavours via our masterclasses to add to their baking range. 🥰

You can sign up for 1:1 masterclasses via requests on our website or sign up to our newsletter when new workshops are announced. ♥️

Have a grand weekend, lovelies! ♥️

Spent the last few days transferring years of photos taken of our work into my iCloud Drive to free up my phone storage as I just can’t squeeze anymore in! 😅

Honestly, I’ve more photos of our cake pops than of my own families and friends and I know I’m not the only one 😉😉

Phone camera shots or professional photography? 🤳🏻 📷

One captures the emotions and the moment , the other captures the craftsmanship. We don’t always get to share photos of our work at an event so when we do get some photos from our customers, it’s lovely to view our work through other lens. 🥰

Thank you for sharing these images with us, 😘

Our postal customers know this ages ago but we’ve been offering this option to our local Sydney customers just recently as we are closing trade more often during the holiday period for short breaks before our busy period starts.

Our cake pops have a long shelf life and store extremely well in chilled conditions and use when thawed too room temperature. As such, customers with events on the days we closed are often given the option to preorder for storage. We will pack our pops safely for thawing and they will be as good as the day we made them. 🥰🥰

Teaching 40 guests to pipe and decorate their own crescent moon cakes was definitely a challenge, but one we were proud to deliver. When there’s a creative idea, we’ll always find a way to execute it and together, we made it happen. ♥️

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the final day of Eid. 🕌🌙

We usually don’t host an event but it’s never never. If you missed our reel, here’s some photos from our International Women’s Day cakesicle event.

As IWD fell on a Sunday this year, it was the perfect opportunity to host the event onsite — and it also marked two years since we moved into our Silverwater studio.

A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful ladies who joined us and created their own beautiful floral cakesicles with our bakery. ♥️

“Do you still make cakes?”

We’ve got this question so many times lately mainly because we haven’t been posting many of our cakes recently. The reason is mainly because cake reels don’t seem to thrill the algorithm , at least not for our cake reels anyway. 🫣

But yes we still make those cakes you love. Thank you to those customers who reminded us to share those cakes we’ve forgotten to post on our feed recently . ♥️♥️♥️ Here they are!!!
