Before Gesha Village reaches a cup at The Coffee Factory, it passes through countless hands. ☕️
Grown at Gesha Village Estate in Bench Maji, Ethiopia, near the ancestral forests where this legendary variety was first discovered, this coffee is about as close to origin as it gets.
Swipe through to see the estate itself: the farm, the surrounding forest, and the people who make this coffee possible. Pickers selecting only the ripest cherries. Workers tending the land. Farmers protecting the indigenous forest that gave us Gesha in the first place.
Founders Rachel Samuel and Adam Overton didn't just find exceptional coffee here, they found the source, and they're preserving the ecosystem it depends on.
This level of care is exactly why Gesha is so coveted, and why the lot we received is so small. Once it's gone, it's gone.

This October, The Grounds is partnering with , supporting young Australians aged 12 to 25 who are impacted by cancer. Throughout October, our team will be wearing Grounds x Canteen Bandanas around The Coffee Factory.
Canteen Australia gives young people and their families the counselling, programs, peer connection, and education and career support they need when cancer affects their world. We're proud to play a part in that.
Funds raised from Bandana sales throughout October go directly to helping Canteen continue this work for young people and families who need it most.
