Hey, It’s Yo here!🤟🏼

First of all I would like to say a HUGE Thank you to each one of you who came down during this last month of Yo Brazilian Pastel!
I really appreciate all the efforts and all the love we received these past weeks!

There are billions of things going through my head right now but only amazing things!

What it started as just a random idea back in 2013, it became a dream for 6 years, then it turned into a reality in May/2019 and now Nov/2022 it turns into history!❤️

I still can’t believe what I was able to do to turn this crazy idea into a dream that came true!

I couldn’t even speak English when I first arrived in Australia 11 years ago!
So starting a business, as an immigrant, on the other side of the world, in Australia?!
Not even in my best dreams I would had imagined that!🤯

But the most incredible part was something that I did not expect and did not plan at all that would happen, Yo Brazilian Pastel became a community where all of us, Brazilian immigrants living in Sydney would come together not only to eat a Pastel, but to feel closer to Brazil!
When homesickness would hit us, a simply Pastel would comfort our SAUDADE from Brazil, from our family, from our friends, from our amazing Brazilian food, from our diversity of culture, from our Happiness which we Brazilians are known for!🇧🇷

Yo Brazilian Pastel turned into something where customers became our friends, where customers became friends of other customers, where our friends became our customers friends… where people would meet to chat with us, with others…where Australians and all nationalities living in this country could find out what a Pastel is and basically fall in love with it!

I will never forget all these amazing 3 and a half years of beautiful feelings, amazing people and will take this incredible experience with me in my memories and in my heart forever and ever!!!❤️
I learned so much from this!

I thank my whole family, all my friends, all my customers and all the amazing people I met through Yo Brazilian Pastel!

É triste e uma das decisões mais difíceis da minha vida até agora, mas infelizmente temos que partir.🥲
Esta não foi uma decisão fácil de tomar, mas é a certa para mim no momento!

Não poderia estar mais feliz com tudo que conquistei com meu negócio nestes 3,5 anos de Yo Brazilian Pastel!
Um sonho que ganhou vida após anos de planejamento e muito trabalho!

Mas tudo que tem um começo tem um fim.
Tenho muito orgulho de tudo que fiz para trazer nosso querido Pastel para Sydney e apresentar para todos o sabor incrível de um delicioso Pastel de Feira!🇧🇷

Gostaria de agradecer a todos que nos apoiaram nesta aventura que de alguma forma nos ajudaram a tornar este negócio bem sucedido!
Agradeço muito cada momento que tive com o meu negócio e levarei essa experiência comigo para sempre no meu coração!

Fecharemos no final deste mês!
Nossos últimos dias serão nos dias 26 e 27 de Novembro!

Hello everyone, It’s Yo here!
It is sad and one of the hardest decisions of my life until now, but unfortunately we have to go.🥲

This is not an easy decision to make, but it is the right one for me at the moment!
I couldn't be happier with everything I have achieved with my business in this 3,5 years of Yo Brazilian Pastel!

A dream that came to life after years of planning and a lot of work!
But everything that has a beginning has an ending.
I am very proud of everything I did to bring our beloved Pastel to Sydney and to present to all Sydneysiders the amazing taste of a delicious Pastel de Feira!🇧🇷

I would like to thank everyone who supported us in this adventure that in some away helped us make this business successful!
I really appreciate every moment I had with my business and I will take this experience with me forever in my heart!

We will be closing in the end of this month!
Our last days will be on the 26th & 27th of November!
So you have four more weeks to come and have one last pastel before we go, ok?

We will be posting a reminder every week so you don’t miss out!

Does eating pastel at the street market taste better than eating indoors? 🤔🥟🇧🇷

In Brazil, pastel is not just a food. It's related to an experience of doing fresh produce groceries at the street market, going for lunch during work or in the morning after a night out.

We wanted to bring that experience here as well. So that’s why you’ll see many Brazilians gathering, talking and eating near our stall. It’s all part of the pastel experience 🤙

We know it took a while, but family comes first and our holidays in Brazil was much needed after the pandemic chaos we lived in. But now we’re full on and ready to bring back our delish pastel! 🤤🥟🇧🇷

To get to the food stall/stand at Fitzroy Gardens in Sydney, you can take the public transport by getting off at Kings Cross Station and walking southeast towards Victoria Street. Alternatively, you can drive and park near the entrance of the gardens on Macleay Street. From there, walk towards the middle of the park where you will find the food stall/stand.
