Just some of the processes we put into place to give you authentic flavours in our duck curry. There's a 6hr process between washing, rubbing in tumeric, chargrilling on an open fire, washing again and cutting before we even start cooking a Duck curry! Come and enjoy that this weekend takeaway or dine in at The Spice Plantation. Tell us if you know what the process is called? I'll give you a hint..starts with G..... Batak ( Batak meaning Duck). Happy New Year everyone. Fiji Spice opened its doors as The Spice Plantation at 5 McCauley St Alexandria. You can still order your dishes take away and pick up from our location. We are also still doing event catering. April events have booked out, and we look forward to seeing you for dine in or take away at our venue. Inbox or call 0408432655. Moey our awesome team member who joined The Spice Plantation for a short term while on his way to finishing his studies to become a Pilot.
Moey has an Iraqi cultural background and has brought so much of his creativity, professionalism, and initiatives to our restaurant.
Naturally we also emparted our own culture to him.
He ate Palusami, kokoda, all the Curries and enjoyed all our cuisine.He is our adopted Fijian family member and we wish him all the best. bar QORI Team. Sharing of cultures.

The night that twas@ The Spice Plantation(Christmas Party event)
The feedback was that it apparently topped the opening night!! I think we may have? What a fantastic night had by everyone..absolutely outstanding if i may say.
