A Heartfelt Thank You from Us
After much reflection, we’ve made the difficult decision to close the doors of Jay D’s Café.
This hasn’t been an easy choice, but it feels like the right time for us to move into a new chapter. We feel a shift in where our energy and focus are needed most right now.
We want to thank each and every one of you for the incredible support you’ve shown us over the past 10 months— your loyalty, laughs, and love have meant the world. It’s been an absolute privilege to serve this beautiful community, and we’ll always be grateful for the memories we’ve shared.

A Heartfelt Thank You from Jay D’s Cafe
Hey everyone, it’s Erin here!
I just wanted to take a moment to say a huge thank you to all of our amazing customers for your support and well wishes. I’ve been off for a little while due to an unexpected and urgently required surgery, but I’m on the mend and can’t wait to be back at Jay D’s soon! I am slowly getting through all enquiries and emails, so if you are waiting on a reply you will have one by end of day :)
A special shoutout to our incredible Jay D's family, thank you Liv for your ongoing support during this difficult time and a warm welcome and thank you to our newest recruits Paige and Cashie, who have been thrown in the deep end and worked so hard to learn everything so quickly! We are so happy to have you both on board.
And, of course, my other half and partner through it all, Jason and our eldest daughter Ava, for keeping everything running smoothly in my absence. What an absolute powerhouse these 2 make!! They have worked so many hours over the last week without me and I am very proud of all they have achieved 😍
In my absence, cocktail afternoon won't be on this afternoon, our apologies for any inconvenience but I am very much looking forward to seeing you all again soon!

To reach Cemetery Road in Helensburgh, which is home to a popular coffee shop, you can use public transport or drive yourself.
If you prefer public transport, take a train to Helensburgh Central station which is approximately 1.5 miles away from the coffee shop. From there, you can either walk or take a bus to Cemetery Road.
If you plan on driving, from Glasgow, take the A82 towards Dumbarton and keep going for about 10 miles until you reach the roundabout for Cardross Road. Take the third exit onto Cardross Road and continue straight ahead until you see a sign for Cemetery Road. Turn right onto Cemetery Road and look out for parking spaces near the coffee shop.
Alternatively, if coming from Loch Lomond direction (A82) at Stoneymollan Roundabout turn left along B832 through Balloch village coming over the bridge of river Leven into Alexandria continue up Main Street bearing left at traffic lights onto Bank Street, then left again onto Sinclair Street and finally right onto East King Street which becomes Rhu road B832. Continue along this road for approximately 3 miles turning left at Ashfield car park Into Scotts gardens following signs for Helensburgh cemetery where Social hb coffee shop located.
