Some lovely news for our little café ❤️
This October, Vivien Hui Chen received a Pride of Workmanship and Community Service Award from the Rotary Club of Northbridge.
Thank you for recognising the care she brings to Little Giant every day. Her family and the whole team are very proud of her. Congratulations to all the other recipients too!
The best part of running a local café is the people. Familiar faces, new neighbours, a quick chat that turns into a friendship. Thank you for making Little Giant part of your day.
Let’s keep showing up for our local cafés and small businesses. Grab a coffee, bring a friend, recommend somewhere you love. These little things help local businesses grow and keep our neighbourhood a friendly, lively place to be.

🏆 Celebrating the people who make our community special!
One of my favourite events of the year is the Northbridge Rotary Club's Pride of Workmanship and Community Service Awards, and Tuesday evening was another wonderful reminder of just how many extraordinary people we have in our community.
These awards recognise something I think is incredibly important - the pride people take in what they do, the care they bring to their work, and the difference they make to the lives of others.
From the friendly faces behind our local businesses and the people who keep our community spaces looking beautiful, to those sharing their creativity, supporting charities and quietly going above and beyond to help others - every recipient had a wonderful story.

It was a privilege to attend with Councillor Sarah Royds and to help present the awards and hear the stories behind each nomination.
These awards shine a light on people who don't necessarily seek recognition. They're simply doing what they do, and doing it with heart.
A huge thank you to President John Bolton, Garth Carter and everyone at the Rotary Club of Northbridge for continuing this lovely tradition of recognising the people who help make our community such a special place.
And congratulations again to all our award recipients. You remind us that the way we do things matters just as much as what we do. 💛
