Here at The Henry, we are proud to have a dedicated and loyal membership who support the Club.
Today, we held our AGM and it was a pleasure to not only induct Gus Edwards as a Life Member, but to also come together for the Club’s 50th birthday.
Here’s to the next 50!

Learning practical skills can make a real difference in everyday life.
Woodchix Foundation's Empowering Women DIY Workshops give women the opportunity to learn practical skills in a supportive, hands-on environment - no previous DIY experience needed.
With workshops running this Saturday 24 October and Saturday 31 October, there’s still time to explore the opportunity, learn something new and build confidence doing things yourself.
Through ClubGRANTS, we’re proud to support community initiatives that help people develop new skills, build independence and access opportunities.

Our Community At Work | The Fathering Project
💙 Sometimes the little moments matter most.
A conversation. A game together. Making time. Simply being there.
The Fathering Project, a not-for-profit organisation provides research-based programs and resources to help dads and father figures build stronger connections with their children.
Through its work with families, schools, workplaces and communities, The Fathering Project helps equip and support fathers and father figures to play an active, positive role in children’s lives.
Because strong family relationships and meaningful connections can help foster a sense of belonging, support and wellbeing.
It's the importance of those everyday connections, the moments that might seem small, but can mean so much.
Sometimes, a little extra time together can mean a lot. ❤️
Find out more about The Fathering Project and discover some of the ways they help dads and father figures build stronger connections with their children.

😂 What a night!
A great crowd, plenty of laughs and a whole lot of community spirit at our Comedy for a Cause event last Friday.
It was wonderful to see a full house at The Henry, with so many people coming together for a night of comedy, connection and shared laughs.
A big thank you to Comedy For A Cause and everyone who came along and helped make it such a great night. 💙Because sometimes, looking after our wellbeing starts with something as simple as getting together, having a laugh and enjoying the moment.
The night also supported the Black Dog Institute, helping raise funds for mental health research and support. If you’d like to contribute, the fundraising page is still open, and every dollar donated goes directly to the Institute.
Even a small contribution can make a difference. 💙

💙 50,000 nights of safety. 50,000 moments of care, support and hope.
Since opening its doors in 2018, The Haven - Nepean Women's Shelter has provided 50,000 nights of crisis accommodation for women and children in our local community.
Behind every one of those nights is someone who needed a safe place to stay, someone to turn to and the support to take their next step.
Alongside providing a safe place to stay, The Haven offers a range of programs and practical support for women and children. From children’s programs and essential care packs to growing fresh food together in their community garden, they create opportunities for women and children to feel connected, supported and cared for.
This Mental Health Month, we’re sharing the stories of people and organisations in our community who provide care, support and hope when it’s needed most.
The Haven’s work is a wonderful example of what care, compassion and community can look like when people need it most.
Take a moment to learn more about The Haven and help spread the word about the support available in our community.

💙 This October, we’re shining a light on mental health and wellbeing in our community.
Mental Health Month is a chance to start conversations, strengthen connections and remind each other that looking after our wellbeing matters all year round.
Throughout October, we’ll be sharing stories from some of the local organisations we’ve supported through our ClubGRANTS program, highlighting the people and work making a difference in our community.
We’ll also have a few ways for our Henry community to get involved:
😂 A free Comedy for a Cause event at Henry on Friday 9 October
💙 A donation to Beyond Blue from every new club membership sold throughout October
From checking in with someone, spending time together, having a laugh or supporting an organisation doing important work, there are lots of ways we can look out for each other.
Follow along throughout October as we share stories, raise awareness and come together for Mental Health Month. 💙
