The House Dining The House Dining, a beloved coffee shop and breakfast & brunch restaurant located in the heart of Chippendale, served its own specialty coffee blend 'El Chapel' and different single origins roasted by The Blind Coffee Roaster. With a cozy ambiance and local art on display, customers enjoyed their fruity macs or espressos while soaking up the sunshine with vinyl records playing in the background. This cafe and licensed restaurant was open seven days a week from 8am, catering to all cafe junkies. Note: The House Dining has been permanently closed.

We hope everyone has been keeping well during this tough time and we’d like to thank all our regulars for their support. We have some new trading hours for the upcoming couple of weeks. We will be open Tuesday - Saturday from 8am-2pm serving coffee and snacks. With restrictions being lifted we will be able to seat 20 people, first in best dressed. Stay safe out there team. Cya soon for a brew

It’s business as usual down here at “The House” (until advised differently) with a few little changes for peace of mind. Menu’s are now located on the walls above tables, we have hand sanitizer on tables, cutlery and water will be brought to your table and staff are being vigilant on cleanliness & health. We aim to look after everyone especially our elderly clientele through this time. Thanks for everyone’s support! On that note, it is taco Thursday! $4 tacos and $7 pints from 5pm. Stay safe out there y’all

For those who prefer public transportation, the nearest train station to King Street is Newtown Train Station, which is a 5-10 minute walk away from the coffee shop and breakfast/brunch restaurant. From there, you can take the King Street exit and walk towards the direction of King Street.

If you are driving in your own car, paid street parking is available along King Street. Alternatively, there are several nearby paid parking lots such as Secure Parking Enmore, Wilson Parking Newtown and Secure Parking Newtown.
