What people say

Bakers Delight on Flood Street, Leichhardt is a go-to dessert and bakery stop for anyone who loves freshly baked treats made with real care. Since 1980, the brand has focused on traditional recipes and real ingredients, and that commitment comes through in the quality of what’s on offer.

What stands out most is the bakery’s knack for creating comforting, flavour-forward bakes that still feel exciting. The Carrot Cake Scone is a great example, combining carrot, sultanas, white chocolate chips and warming spices, then finishing it with cream cheese icing and crushed walnuts for a sweet treat that feels both nostalgic and indulgent. It’s the kind of bake you can enjoy as a satisfying snack or pair with your favourite drink.

For those who like something a little more mindful without sacrificing taste, Bakers Delight also offers options such as Hi-Protein Low Carb wholegrain loaves. These are designed to fit into everyday routines while keeping things filling and enjoyable—perfect when you want a hearty bake with substance.

Overall, Bakers Delight delivers consistent freshness, generous flavour combinations, and a welcoming approach to baking that makes it easy to see why locals keep coming back.
