These are not just spring rolls, they are the famous Vietnamese Net Spring rolls (Chả Giò Rế Chiên Giòn).
To make the wrap, rice flour batter is scooped into a custom made dispenser with multiple nozzles at the bottom. The thin batter is squirted through the nozzles onto a flat hot plate while the person holding it moves the dispenser around and around until the entire hot plate is covered.
After less than a minute, the wrap is ready. It is then filled with seafood, vegetables, and rolled up for deep frying.
Super crunchy and tasty, we highly recommend this as an entrée for an authentic Vietnamese dining experience.

What makes our beef pho (Pho Bo) so good?
Well, the broth is slowly simmered for hours every day from beef bones, meat and lots of herbs and toasted spices. We laboriously remove all the impurities to ensure the soup is as clear as possible.
Then we use quality wagyu beef for the ultimate pleasure. When the hot broth is poured onto the beef, it cooks the thinly sliced beef instantly without overcooking it.
Last but not least, like all our dishes, we add a lot of TLC (tender, love and care) so that it reminds of your mum's cooking at home.
Grab a bowl of our beef pho next time when you are in Chatswood or Broadway, you won't disappoint.

These are not average spring rolls, they are crab rolls that are hugely popular for this crispy wraps and tasty fillings
Spring rolls are called Nem in Northern Vietnam, look out for Crab Nem Spring Rolls on our menu. You can order by itself as a starter or make it a meal with vermicelli noodles and salad.
Even better you can combine it with Bun Cha as locals do in Hanoi and enjoy an authentic Northern Vietnamese speciality.

Due to popular demand, we have included some rice dishes on our menu such as this marinated pork chop with fried eggs.
The marinated pork is a family recipe perfected over time; as a result the pork is so flavoursome, moist and absolutely delicious.
You can order tomato rice for extra $2, either way this dish is perfect for a satisfying lunch or a quick bite for dinner.

An Viet was initially opened to fulfil our mother's desire to continue to cook and serve food as she would for her children.
Vietnamese mothers are passionate about cooking in the kitchen and preparing healthy and delicious food for their families and guests. When children grow up, mums have less work to do, but moms carry on to cook and sell food on kerbside at the front of their houses.
An Viet is a family restaurant where our mom can still cook like she used to do for the family, using her traditional techniques and local supplies. It brings back the memories and reminds us how tasty home-cooked meals are.
We invite you to come and taste our mom's food that she makes with passion and pride.
