Mount Yasur has been erupting for over 800 years. Every eruption drops fresh mineral ash onto Tanna Island's slopes, building an earth so deep and nutrient-dense that no other origin can copy it. This kind of ground takes centuries to make, and it cannot be moved or rushed. The families who farm these volcanic slopes read the land season after season, the same way three generations before them did. Every bag we roast begins here, in soil that has been working long before any of us arrived. π±
