I’m just here to watch the boss walk in with the confidence of someone who definitely didn’t spend the entire weekend partying… while the rest of us are surviving on coffee and good intentions.

Just a little heads-up, beautiful people!
We'll be closing a little earlier today and taking a day off tomorrow to recharge the coffee machine... and ourselves.
Seta's Café will be closed tomorrow, Monday 8 June.
See you all bright and early on Tuesday for your coffee fix .

When you've been partying all night but should be working...
Me: Be responsible.
Also me: One more song! 💃😂
Running on caffeine, good vibes, and poor decisions.

Me: "Daniella, choose between 2 weeks in Europe or the closing shift?"
Daniella: "2 weeks in europe ."
Lucky she doesn't read Arabic.

When your cafe owner and barista decide to leave the coffee machine unattended for one night... you know things are about to get dangerous! 😂☕️
Tonight we swapped aprons for fancy clothes and headed out for a well-deserved night of fun, laughter, and probably way too many photos! 📸✨
But most importantly, we're proud to be supporting a wonderful charity gala raising funds and awareness for breast cancer.
A great cause, great company, and a rare sighting of us outside the cafe after dark! If anyone needs coffee, we'll be back tomorrow... slightly tired but with full hearts.
Here's to making a difference, supporting our community, and proving that baristas do occasionally leave the cafe!

A huge thank you to She Shed for having me as a guest speaker today. 🤍
I truly loved sharing my journey of being both a cafe owner and a local government councillor… while also juggling the beautiful chaos of being a woman, a mum, a leader, and everything in between.
One of my favourite questions was: “How do you balance your feminine energy and masculine energy?”
My masculine energy is what helps me survive, make hard decisions, keep the cafe running, lead, problem solve, and keep showing up no matter how tired I am.
But my feminine energy… that’s the side of me I’ve loved since I was a little girl. The soft side. The creative side. The nurturing side. The side that loves beauty, connection, emotions, kindness, dressing up, creating safe spaces, and making people feel seen.
And honestly… that feminine energy is what keeps me balanced. It’s what keeps my heart alive in the middle of all the pressure.
I think so many women today are carrying both strength and softness at the same time… and there is something so powerful about that.
Thank you again for creating such a beautiful space for honest conversations, inspiring women, and real connection. ✨

still can’t believe the tragic event we have experienced. My heart feels heavy, and like many in our community, I am still trying to process it all. Life can change in a moment, and sometimes the pain people carry is far deeper than we could ever imagine.
Domestic violence is never acceptable. Never. No matter the reason, no matter the circumstance. If you are struggling, feeling overwhelmed, hurting, or feeling lost, please reach out. Speak to someone you trust, a friend, family member, a professional, or even seek help online. Asking for help is not weakness — it is strength.
And this is also a powerful reminder to all of us to stay kind, stay humble, and be gentle with one another. We never truly know what battles someone is facing behind closed doors. A smile, a kind word, a moment of compassion can mean more than we realise.
And to anyone living with domestic violence: please know you do not have to stay. You are worthy of safety, peace, and love. We need stronger education, more awareness, and more conversations around DV because enough is enough. It is not acceptable, and it never will be.
