we re-open today folks😅

marrickville will always be the heart and soul of eat fuh. we very nearly did not make it through covid. but that’s not an excuse. truth be told, it’s a tough tough gig. staff shortage led to poor service and it went to the dogs from there. we disappointed many of our customers. we embraced the feedback with open arms and now we’re back. there will no doubt be teething issues but the spirit of good food good service and a damn good bowl of fuh is alive and kicking.

Humans eating soup date back to 20,000 BC when waterproof containers first made boiling techniques possible.

The first use of the word restaurant (French for restoring) was based on vendors selling medicinal antidotes to exhaustion.

And we arrive to today where Sydneysiders move on from pies, burgers and fries to embrace the richness of multicultural Australia - from Malaysian Laksa to Moroccan Tajines, Japanese Ramen to of course Eat Fuh’s Vietnamese Fuh (Phở).

The medicinal antidote is still there in our oven roasted star anise, ginger, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon simmered for hours with nourishing beef bones - revitalising, energising and wholesome.

To get to Illawarra Road in Sydney, you can take the train and get off at Marrickville Station, which is located on the T3 Bankstown line. From there, it's just a 5-minute walk to the street.

If driving, you can take Princes Highway and turn onto Illawarra Road. There are public parking spaces available near the area.
