Sitting somewhere between a cafe and a restaurant, Quick Brown Fox combines pretty plates of feel-good food with wonderful wines, crazy-good cocktails, carefully-crafted coffee, and cosy pockets for drinking and dining indoors and alfresco.

One thing people don’t realise about Quick Brown Fox? The building itself is older than most of the streets around it. Our little sandstone cottage has been standing in Pyrmont since the 1840s, now filled with good coffee, brunch plates and plenty of stories.

The dish that's been on our menu since day one — and for good reason. 🧇
Our Waffle Benedict starts with a house-made sourdough potato waffle. Crisp on the outside, pillowy through the middle. Topped with sautéed spinach, free range poached eggs, ham off the bone, and a hollandaise that ties the whole thing together.
No English muffin. No shortcuts. Just a better benedict.

Our Potato Hash has become a bit of a favourite around here for good reason.
Crispy house hash topped with free range poached eggs, smoked salmon, charred greens and finished with nduja hollandaise for just the right amount of heat. The kind of brunch plate that keeps people coming back. 🍳🥔

Tucked away in a heritage sandstone cottage just moments from the city, Quick Brown Fox is the kind of café people stumble across once and keep coming back to. Good coffee, generous brunches, friendly faces and a relaxed courtyard atmosphere that feels far from the usual rush of Sydney.
From slow mornings with a coffee to long brunch catch-ups with friends, QBF is all about good food, warm service and creating a space that feels genuinely local. Whether you’re here for our signature brunch dishes, fresh pastries or just your regular coffee order, there’s a reason so many Pyrmont locals call this place their go-to. ☕🍳

We love being part of the rhythm of Pyrmont mornings. Locals grabbing takeaway coffees, brunch dates in the courtyard, dogs waiting patiently outside and our team remembering the regular orders before they’re even said.

Some mornings just call for a proper breakfast muffin.
Our sausage & egg muffin is stacked with a house-made sausage patty, egg, melted cheese and sauce, all tucked into a soft toasted muffin. Simple, satisfying and made for mornings on the go. ☕️🍳

A lot of our team are locals themselves, which is probably why we’ve always wanted Quick Brown Fox to feel more like a neighbourhood spot than a café in the middle of the city. Familiar faces, good conversation and remembering your coffee order goes a long way around here 🙂
