Bennett's on the River was a unique stationary cafe, bar and grill located onboard the MV Platypus in Western Sydney. The restaurant offered a family-style dining experience and was also known for its coffee shop. It featured a brand new concept called The River Boat Bar, which was set to launch soon and had won the Unique Venue category in 2018. Bennett's on the River offered a safe singles night out during their Traffic Light Party event, as well as special New Year’s Eve celebrations. Unfortunately, this restaurant has been permanently closed.

To get to the coffee shop and family style restaurant, visitors can use public transport by taking a train or bus to Circular Quay Station. From there, they can walk along the riverside promenade towards the east until they reach the establishment.

Alternatively, drivers can park at the nearby parking garage on Pitt Street and make their way to the venue via Hickson Road. The restaurant is located near the pier and can be accessed by crossing over a small bridge.
