I dreamed up a fantastical crazy golf course filled with sour strap arches, giant lollies, buttercream fairways, cupcake mounds, candy bunkers and lifesaver putting greens ā complete with sweet little holes-in-one hidden around every turn.
Iām a teensy bit obsessed with rectangle cakes and this is definitely one of my faves!

On Motherās Dayā¦ I have some thoughtsā¦ š
Before I had kids, I had one wishā¦ to be a role model for them. Someone they could look up to and respect and perhaps even be inspired by.
Before I became a mum, I envisaged this manifesting through my career as a journalist ā that this would be how they (& I) measured my success. Life had other plans for me, and instead I built this little cake businessā¦ and not only have my kids become such a beautiful part of it all, it has also done the very thing I always hoped for: it made me the role model I always wanted to be.
What I never expected was how proudly they would embrace it too. They tell their friends what I do with such excitement, hand out my business details to complete strangers, and always want to be involved ā whether thatās helping at markets, workshops or parties. They donāt just see the cakesā¦ they see the work, the passion and the heart behind it all.
Seeing my eldest proudly bake and decorate these cupcakes completely on her own honestly fills my heart in a way I canāt properly put into words. The late nights, the messy kitchen, the juggling act of motherhood and business ā moments like this make it all feel worth it.
Thereās no greater gift than seeing your children inspired by you, not because you told them to be, but because theyāve been watching you quietly all along š¤
Happy Motherās Day to all the mums building, creating, nurturing and showing up every day ā your little people are noticing more than you think.

This āpizzaā is presented on hand painted napkins and features coconut cheese, chocolate olives and fondant pepperoniā¦ and the rest is entirely made of cake!
Also, cute note - this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle cake of Raphael was made for a gorgeous little birthday boy also called Raphael.

I had so much fun adapting my original Ninja turtle cake design for Phoenixās birthday last year (yes as always Iām still running behind with sharing my content).
I always love an opportunity to take one of my cake designs and push it to another level, try new design techniques and refine certain elements ā¦but mostly just have fun with it!
The clients loved it and that is what counts so happy days!

The minute I saw that image of the Huntrix girls sitting with the Saja Boys the idea for this cake popped into my head and I knew I had to bring it to life.

That time I immortalised Michael Jackson in cake!
This cake was for a special birthday boy who loves MJ, particularly Smooth Criminal so of course I had to include the white trilby and his trademark pose remastered in buttercream!
Also I canāt go past mentioning that my little brother and I grew up on The King of Pop and my bro in particular is OBSESSED.
I managed to scoop tickets to Michaelās last series of concerts though sadly we all know how that ended. As a result I instead got us front row seats to Thriller Live in London. It was amazing.
And now MICHAEL the movie is due out this month and I wish I could take my bro to see it but I guess weāll have a good review sesh after!
