A post for the non-reel types! It’s goodbye from us… Friends, family, and cherished customers.
I’ve never been good with goodbyes, so forgive me this one. After six and a half years it’s time for a rest and a reset, so it is with mixed emotions I’m announcing Et Al will be closing the doors for the last time next Thursday night 28 March. Apologies for the late notice… it truly snuck up.

Llankelly can look forward to an exciting new offer taking our space, and we wish them all the best.

I want to express my gratitude to our wonderful staff. Edo, who quietly and skillfully took the reins from Alastair 2 years ago. Caio for your many years of service (I’m sure I can recall a day you were actually happy to be here) and for keeping me company and sane during our covid shifts. To all the other staff past and present, you’ve all been central in making Et al as loved as it is.

I also thank my long suffering partner Chris, for the occasional (& many) shifts, for being our social media manager and his unwavering commitment to keeping the wine stock turning over.

Please accept my heartfelt thanks for your loyalty, kindness, and years of support, for the memories, laughter, and for keeping me company on cold winter nights and long Covid lockdowns. Thanks especially for the friendship.
There are many of you I want to thank and mention personally but fear missing just one, so I won’t here, but I hope to see you in person before we close. I hope you all know what you mean to me and thank you for making the complete Et al.

For now, I have no plans, but who knows what the future holds, maybe the ‘Et Al’ neon will flicker to life somewhere else.

With love and gratitude,

Stephen, et al.
