In 2015, William opened The Phoenix on Moncur Street. He never wanted it to feel like just a business. He wanted it to feel like home. Somewhere you could drop in after a long day and see a familiar face behind the bar. Somewhere to celebrate birthdays, catch up with old friends, bring the family for a Sunday roast, or sit with a glass of w**e and let the week go.
Every dish on our menu is William's. He made them for sharing, for the kind of long dinners where the plates keep coming and nobody checks the time. Our kitchen team cooks them every day and night, just the way he imagined.
He put together our weekly specials so there's always a reason to pop in, whether it's schnitzel on a Monday or the Greek roast on a Sunday. He also created the nights people now plan their month around. Greek Night, when the music starts and the whole room ends up dancing. The Woollahra Jazz Club, when everything slows down and the band takes over.
Eleven years later, you've brought your friends, your families and your neighbours through our doors. Some of you don't even need a menu anymore. You're the reason The Phoenix has become what William always hoped it would be.

From there, you can walk down New South Head Road towards Woollahra Village and turn left onto Moncur Street. Alternatively, if you are driving to Moncur Street, there is street parking available along the road and nearby side streets. Just be aware of any time restrictions on parking signs before leaving your car.
