Now THAT was an adventure.. 85km in 5 days, plenty of daily elevation gain and back again, mountains, river crossings, a glacier, spumante on NYE and a 3am hike to Los Torres as a finale. A bit broken and several mega blisters later.
Some of the shots show the variety of my state of mind during the trek. Loads of fun of course and with excellent company! X
(Only downside? No good coffee)

Merry Chrissy to all my coffee addicted friends and Margot family. Spent a wonderful few days in Quintay, Vegemite on crackers for breakfast, local fresh seafood delivered to our remote Airbnb for lunch, a day trip to Valparaiso , and bookended the stay with lunch at 2 X spectacular wineries.
Absolutely amazing country this Chile! ♥️♥️🎄🍷🍾

Atacama Desert. Driest place ON EARTH.... Some parts of this 1600 square mile desert have no recorded rainfall on record, estimated to be centuries without a spec. Crazy. Also fascinating to explore.. geisers and Laguna's more than twice as high as the highest point in Australia.. making endless cups of coca leaf tea to acclimate, flamingos, churches in every corner, an incredible night sky. And sand, so much sand!

We all need to be taking about this more.
No matter how you look at it - this decision if it comes into legislation will ONLY benefit the banks. NOT consumers, NOT merchants.
Scrapping card fees could save Aussies $1.2 billion a year, but small businesses warn it may just push up prices instead.

End of an era at 1 Margaret st. Long time tenant and one of my best customers CUSCAL (special nod to Craig ) is leaving for Darling Park... 😓 Very generous farewell gift from the big boss fella who I've had many yarns and laughs with. Not sure which of us came out on top of the "scare the bloody sh*t our of the other" campaign... 🤷💪😎

Unbelievable weekend. Pulling 8g in a red bull stunt plane with Emma, fishing with Emily and kids. Epic all round!

My weekend shot making routine. Just add your milk / hot water / ice / cinnamon - whatever floats your Mardi gras boat

Feeling the big time love and warmth from my Margot Espresso precinct customers / family.
It has truely been a pleasure and honour to share so many fond memories with you all. For many of you I know this is not the last chapter in the collective and we will see each other again in a variety of formats in 2025 + beyond. ❤️❤️❤️

Unfortunately I've just been told verbally that a 30day notice of intent to NOT renew is "in the mail".
Less than 2 weeks before Christmas 🎁⛄, what a delightful gift that is.
I've declined 3 offers of other sites this year alone, perhaps I should have been more forward thinking..
Much love to all 1 Margaret st precinct coffee addicts. It's been a tumultuous 10+ years, 2024 has been a good one to finish on.
Keep an eye out for where I set my cart back down in the future. ❤️❤️☕💪
