What people say
Firedoor is a restaurant that truly stands out from the crowd. Located in the heart of Sydney's Surry Hills, this unique eatery offers a dining experience like no other. The ancient language of fire is harnessed to create dishes that are bursting with flavor and character.
The kitchen at Firedoor uses wood-fired ovens and grills to cook their food, relying on human instinct rather than temperature gauges to get things just right. This approach results in dishes that are honest, authentic, and full of natural goodness.
The restaurant itself is housed within a beautiful heritage building on Mary Street, adding to its charm and character. The open kitchen is a focal point of the space, featuring custom-made wood-fired ovens, grills, and an Australian-made Aga.
Overall, Firedoor is a must-visit for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience in Sydney. With its unique approach to cooking and commitment to quality ingredients, it's no wonder this restaurant has become such a popular destination for foodies from all over the world.
